PRESSURE HEAD Definition & Legal Meaning

Definition & Citations:

The hydrostatic or pressure head is the weight of a column of water of a specific height at the bottom of the column. It is expressed as the ‘foot head’ or ‘meter head’. It does not depend on the amount of water in the column. A 10 foot high column of water has the same pressure head irrespective of the diameter of the column.
